WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
Vale CrossFit first opened its doors in 2022. Our aim has always been to create an environment where people go, not just to achieve their ambitions, but also somewhere they can hang out, have a coffee with friends, meet new people and feel confident in themselves and their training.
Whether your goal is to do a pull up, run a marathon or become a professional athlete, we will work with you and encourage you every step of the way and celebrate every success with you.
Gym Manager and Lv2 CrossFit trainer Hannah spends her spare time representing Great Britain at Aussie Rules Football. Whilst studying Sports Coaching at Cardiff Met she found CrossFit and never looked back.
Co-owner & Mark's better half Lauren is a Lv1 CrossFit Trainer and works as a Sports Presenter. She is the European Correspondent for CrossFit HQ and spends her time lifting weights or drinking coffee behind reception.
Dawn is a social butterfly, spending much of her time working one on one with members to make them better. If she's not coaching in the gym, she'll be found walking her cheeky doggo, Travis.
Jess is the driving force behind our community classes, splitting her time between coaching new mums, the teens and our regular CrossFit faithful. With a degree in Sports Science and a diploma in Sports Massage, she is an invaluable part of the crew.
Balancing his work as both a coach and helping the good people of Barry rescue cats from trees, Nicky is our resident fire fighting athlete. Friendly and approachable, yet with a Fran time to challenge with the best.
Resident Marine and new dad Max brings his professional expertise to the Vale CrossFit floor. Renowned for a brutal Saturday 'Big Barbell' class, you can't miss his thick Scottish accent as you step through the door.
“If you want to be a part of something completely different and find a community, come to Vale CrossFit"
"The most painful yet enjoyable hour of my day"
“Everyone is super encouraging, like a big family, just step through the door and do it.”
